Beautiful dining room, lovely location, excellent breakfast.
Standard room quite small, our room was too warm, had to leave window open all night and day
The beautiful location and the hotel had so much history
The mattress on the bed we slept in was a bit old and you could feel the springs.
I stayed above the kitchen and was quite noissy.
The staff were very friendly and efficient, Hotel was clean and comfortable, and the menu both Evening/Breakfast excellent. Nice and quiet stay, facilities were good.
Good hotel, tastefully decorated, in a central location; staff were friendly and helpful; the food was lovely.
the decor of the hotel was lovely, the food was very nice, the bathroom was lovely with huge bath.
the restaurant and the bedroom were so very hot - no aircon, therefore felt the price was very expensive for something that was not comfortable.
We received a free upgrade to a king room in the back and it was lovely with a view of the garden, quiet, and fun decor.
The large tub had a shower attachment, no shower curtain, and it was fairly high to climb into. This is definitely not an arrangement suitable for older people or those with any physical limitations. On the other hand, two people could take a bath together easily!
clean and beautiful, great restaurant
room was a little small and warm
Central location within the Cotswolds. Character building with contemporary features.
Great location, lovely breakfast, good general hotel facilities, friendly staff.
Room felt expensive at £150 per night for what it was. I believe other rooms might have a more luxurious feel but the specific room we had (twin room, number 108 or 109) felt a little shabby with a mouldy smell in the bathroom. Despite it being clean and being supplied with bath robes and nice toiletries we still felt a bit underwhelmed by the room.
the location was very good hotel room really nice and very comfortable a lovely hotel and would stay again. Staff very helpful and friendly.
no fridge in the room and did get a little noisy as we were above the dining room but everything else fine.
It was close to Hidcote Gardens
Staff very helpful & attentive, chioce of venues for meals. Lovely olde worlde hotel sited in the middle of Chipping Campden - a very pretty town.
The whole atmosphere of the place said luxury to me. Despite us booking for two rooms, the gentleman on reception only had one booked, but this did not seem to be a problem. Our room overlooked the garden to the rear and was small but very opulently decorated. I would gladly stay again and recommend to friends.
Excellent - only thing missing is a spa - pool - sauna to chillax in. Terrific setting in heart of chipping Campden.
